About the Role
The Financial Analyst will manage financial accounting processes for the Marketing & Promotion team, including budget management, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Controllership, Business Finance, and Audit teams, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and accurate reporting aligned with company standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations and maintain updated financial forecasts and budgets.
- Handle email queries from stakeholders with timely responses.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Manage monthly accrual bookings and support audit and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce or MBA with 0–2 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Experience with MS Office, Oracle Applications (GL + Subledger), and Essbase/TM1 preferred.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle large datasets.
Additional & Technical Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with automation tools or techno-finance systems will be an added advantage.
