About the Role
The Cybersecurity Assurance Team at Visa is seeking an entry-level cybersecurity analyst to help strengthen governance, compliance, and automation initiatives. You will assist in monitoring vulnerabilities, supporting risk management, and improving cybersecurity processes through analytics and AI-driven tools. This position offers hands-on experience in security compliance, vulnerability management, and automation scripting, supported by Visa’s experienced mentors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Assurance & Compliance
- Monitor and report vulnerabilities, incidents, and findings.
- Ensure compliance with Visa’s internal controls and frameworks like PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with teams to embed security into project workflows.
- Maintain data integrity in compliance and risk management systems.
- Technology & Automation
- Build and enhance automation workflows using Python, Power BI, Tableau, and ETL frameworks.
- Apply AI and data analytics to improve compliance reporting and risk insights.
- Develop dashboards and automation scripts for real-time security monitoring.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with teams across Visa to enhance automation and streamline compliance tasks.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving AI, ML, and cloud security.
- Prepare concise reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any stream) OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or risk management.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Foundational skills in Python, SQL, or automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in Power BI, Tableau, or ETL scripting.
