Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform daily GR-IR account reconciliations using SAP and Blackline tools.
- Monitor GR-IR balances, review aged items, and coordinate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Receiving teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reconciliation reports for audits while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and acting as the primary audit liaison.
- Analyze financial data in Blackline, perform trend and fluctuation analysis, and present key process metrics.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
- Contribute ideas for automation and simplification to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification: CA, CMA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA with a bachelor’s degree in commerce.
- Experience: 0–2 years in GL reconciliation or finance operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP FICO, Blackline, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced Excel skills (including basic Macros).
- Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and audit procedures.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities across teams.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with a proactive learning attitude.
